Using EML Files

If you're new to stationery, you may not know what that .eml file is that most of the stat artists send out when they offer up a topper for snagging. I loved working with them. And if you don't know what they are, here's a short tut on how to use them.

1) Make a file on your desktop for your eml files.

2) You can categorize this file with all sorts of subcategories. I have lots of folders inside my eml file folder such as Friendship, Get-Well, Scripture, Hello, etc....so you can find a topic you're looking for right away.

3) When you want to use a stationery, just go to that file and double click on it and it automatically opens up in Outlook Express. Now how cool is that?

4) Most of the artists put "Text goes here" on the stat. Just highlight that and start typing your message.

5) If you have a tag that you wish to use on that particular topper, put your cursor where you want your tag to go, go up to the top of the window where it says "Insert", browse to where your tag is and insert it where you want it.

6) This is not only the easiest way to work with your stats, it also maintains the integrity of artist's work.
